What is a Hybrid Cloth Diaper

First off a Hybrid is NOT an Ai2 and for one main reason. It does not contain a waterproof barrier such as PUL. The PUL is what classifies this as an Ai2.

A Hybrid Cloth diaper is made a few ways. Either with water repellent fleece, blizzard fleece or here at Cozy we have a Wool nighttime option. 

All of these fabrics work in a different way with a Hybrid. The blizzard fleece and water repellent fleece help to push moisture back into the insert. 

Did you know if you lanolize wool you are losing its ability to absorb moisture? Wool is an amazing fabric. It helps you to stay dry while also being able to pull moisture away from the skin. It can absorb up to 70% of its weight in liquid BEFORE you feel wet. 

Hybrid Cloth Diapers help keep the moisture in while also allowing for air to pass through, limiting the amount and effects of the moisture being close to the skin.
